My Yearbook @ Great Lakes

This year of my life has been great at Great Lakes Institute of Management. I am happy that I have been able to do everything starting from making friends to studying to partying to dancing to contributing to staying being single. This year has been full of experiences for me. Met great people, got inspired from them and who set my ambitions in my life to next level. To end, the yearbook says it all. I will keep this as my most important treasure in my life. I know you all spent lot of time writing so good about me. :) Below is my yearbook page:

Dude you are the one whom I met first at Great Lakes. I had no idea at that time, that I was shaking hands with a genius. Really appreciate your creativity. Though our hangout sessions at GL are limited in numbers but its not the quantity its the quality of interaction which matters. Really appreciate your humble and calm attitude. High 5...uchal k...\m/

The title of the post seems to be very simple and complex. We all know what is 'High 5'. Its the easiest way to tell your friend that you second his thought in the most exciting manner. And 'Uchal k' is the extreme act of excitement to express your happiness or feelings. Above two sentences explains the simplicity of the title. The complexity arises when these two phrases are joined together. The complexity is nothing less than the complexity in the people which share this group. They are individually complex, however, becomes simple when are together. 'High 5...uchal k' is the name of the group of 5 friends. These friends share different aims and purpose in life, completely different colors. However, together they form the complete rainbow of 7 colors. The other 2 colors come from the bond and caring they have for each other. These people never think alike, however, does everything like together. These people are always sad when they are in their rooms, however they never stop smiling when together. These people stare girls/boys alone, however, everyone stares them when they are together. These people are complex alone,however, they are simple together.

High 5 have all the relations in the group. Someone is other's father. Someone is other's son. Someone is other's best friend. Someone is other's daughter. Someone is other's virtual GF. Someone is other's love. Someone is other's someone.


High 5 is the group, which exists in the campus of Great Lakes. Is this the place where people become great, or they make great friends, or they make great groups, or they make great relations, or they make great carrier. I don't know about the others but I have made great group in Great Lakes - High 5..uchal k....The group consists of 5 notorious people Richa, Siddharth, Siddhant, Tushar and Vikram. All these people have some USP in them. Something only they know about themselves. Ye sab bakwaas hai...kuch nahi hai in logo m...sab nakli hai...ekdum fraud..sirf dealing deni aati hai in sabko..bas ye sochte rehte hai k kiska kab n aksie kaate...n apne aap ko to smajhte hai jaise yehi sab kuch hai...duniya inhone hi apni mutthi m karni hai....Reliance agla Indai m yehi khada karenge...Subah utha jaata nahi hai inse...sab kuch kal pe taalte hai.... BUT THEY ALL WILL DO SOMETHING ONE DAY. Lets see what all these people are.

Richa : The first thing someone notice about her is her smile. Itni badi hai k face hi chota pad jata hai...And ladke to aise girte hai iski smile dekh k jaise 5 saal k govt. 5 min m gir jaye. But she is smallest kid because she is the most pampered person in High 5. Though she is the eldest also. She takes care of everyone. She makes sure that everyone else in the group is having food properly. She makes sure that everyone is reaching their class. She carries breakfast to the class for them. She even comes specially to the class just to make sure  that we have something to eat. She is our 'GULABO'. Her 'PLEASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE' is so long, that no one is able to refuse her after that. And when no one listen to what she says, she 'CANCELS' that person. And ye sabse zyada naraz hoti hai...Actually its her way to get work done from us. Sirf nautanki hai iski, and hum mann jate hai to ise lagta hai k its working.  Her favorite game is pass-pass. 'PASS'

Siddharth : He is the most sophisticated person of our group. Her best replacement is any minister of Indian govt. Every time he is serious, he starts behaving like minister with eyes wide open. He thinks people take him serious, and we make sure that he lives in this dilemma. He tries to study hard, but never get marks. He loves nasha. Daru ka nasha...pyar ka nasha...dosti ka nasha..nashe ka nasha..According to him we all should make nasha part of our life. He copies people walk perfectly. And when he dance, people stop dancing. No one can copy his dance and no one can beat him in his dance. His favorite song is 'sweety sweety sweety tera pyar chaida'. When he wears cap and glares, he is unstoppable. He wants to have nice body and bullet between his legs. And right now both these are unimaginable for him. He just makes bullet's noise and act as he he is driving it. And we get free bullet ride on his imaginable bullet. He is 'DADDA' for Richa, but for us he is 'FIA' - Frustrated Ishaan Awasthi.

Siddhant : He is best husband material. Idol person in our group. We all admire him for his sincerity. Sometime envy him also. He studies so fast, that we all the time keep on chasing him. He is the only reason we are able to study this much. He knows how to use his time perfectly. He has perfect shield around him. Neither he will ever come out of the shield, nor will allow you to break his shield. Everyone tries to bring him out of his conscious state. And when he comes out, more than him other 4 are happy. He wanna reach heights, and one day he will. We call him 'ROTLU' and his favorite line is 'aise nahi hota...pagal ho kya...' And if you want to strike to his heart, you just need to sing 'tune mere jaana...kabhi nahi jaan...ishq tera..dard mera - EMPTINESS'

Vikram - He is the toughest and easiest person to describe. He has the dirtiest of room in the hostel. He washes his clothes just once in the month. He can dance to any tune and with anyone. He is made for Pune but loves Delhi. He studies the most of all of us, however, he reads only newspapers and magazines. He is the living encyclopedia for us. He opens the book when everyone has closed it after completing the preparation for the exam. You can never see him visible to chat but he is 24*7 online. He is the fastest person who will like and comment on your post. I doubt if he is paid by Zuckerberg to do all this or is he in the IT support of Facebook. He never says no to anyone for anything. He writes his assignments in class. And if he tries to do the pre-read, he surely miss that class next morning. He is our 'FUNSUK'. And I guess I don't need to explain further what he is.

Tushar : His room number is G2G. You will always find the door open. He just wants his room number to be written in the history of Great lakes,. He is the most vella person of the group. Iske bare m kuch na hi batau to better hai. But he will one day say, " Mat jao, Golu ro padega"..:p

So lets have HIGH 5....ucha k.... \m/

Last Day......

Last day...Last day..Ya last day is the day which makes us realize our life...By life I mean all the moments of our life..We just keep on living our life; but the moment any last day comes..We realize what life is..What all moments we have lived in those past days..Why cant we have such last days each second to have moments each second or to realize life each second..

Our few Last Days:

# Before being born - kicking in all directions inside mom's pouch and crying
# Before going to school for first time - crying and hiding behind mom
# Before 'pee'ing in your shorts - act as the world's most innocent child who doesn't know from where the water is about to come
# Before learning to write on notebook - writing all over the walls and smiling when someones scolds
# Before learning to ride cycle - ask dad or grandpa to hold and make you ride the world
# Before using pens to write - buying all kinds of pens as if I'm gonna do all the writing henceforth
# Before exam day - who made the exams and why exams come so early
# Before passing the school - you started loving all your teachers whom you hated the most
# Before the exam results - praying to god, "m 101 ka prasad chadaunga"
# Before college's first day - what to wear..how to impress girls/ attract boys..how to be dude/babes
# Before the assignment submittion night - next time I will do myself..just someone share it with me this time
# Before writing first love letter - imagining yourself as SRK
# Before going on first date - watching all hindi movies and learning all the romantic dialogues
# Before talking to girl for the first time -  just rattafying what all you gonna talk
# Before holding girl's hand for first time - checking 100 times if your hand is clean

# Before loosing your virginity - reading all the instructions again and again as if its the toughest exam to clear

# Before going away from your best friend - asking him/her to call you daily and keep giving all updates
# Before getting the first salary - making budgets which sums to double of our salary
# Before drinking for the first time - "just gonna try it once"
# Before going away from the home for first time - all happy to enjoy the freedom and sad to lose the freedom
# Before the first project delivery date - praying all night and repeatedly trying to remember if you checked all precautions
# Before seeing the girl for marriage - hoping her to be like your dream girl
# Before the marriage day - planning honeymoon and ******
# Before your first night - "                    "
# Before becoming father/mother - holding your spouse's hand and eyes glittering to see your kids in your hands
# Before your kid actually starts walking - holding his hand and trying every hard to make him walk

Com'n...why cant I be single??

don't hide..u don't have any chance on me...
don't try to flirt out here...

These are few of the lines (or punches) I have been hearing in the last few days or months or years...Shit years...!!..People somehow don't believe that I'm single or don't want to believe....as if every girl is running behind me... or am i dude... or am i teetotaler..or am I the only boy left single...Somehow I'm enjoying this singlehood..(dil pe pathar rakh k bolna padta hai..).. But I can reason out the few of the advantages of being single...So here it goes:

1) You cant post videos of 'Pyar Ka Punchnama' on your facebook wall without having fight your gf..
2) You can add as many friends on your list as you want (girls of course...if you gonna add boys then you will always remain single)
3) You can wear t-shirts like this and claim your prize...

4) You are not required to give your daily updates to anyone...starting from how you go to loo.. to how you gonna sleep...
5) You can comment anything on your your friends pics..(girls by default)
6) You are allowed to booze and smoke as much as you want without hiding from anyone...
7) You can flirt with any girl you want...
8) You can have so many friends who are girls and can go for movie with them...just you two...
9) You can wear any color you want...or without color will also work..
10) You are not required to think of ways to prove to your gf that you really love her..
11) You can say "love u" to any girl...because for gf it is "i love u"
12) You can go to disc with anyone..I guess I don't need to explain it further
13) You can talk to anyone on phone..no one will question you to whom were you talking
14) You can say "you were busy" but not to gf..for her it is "you were busy just to escape from her"
15) You can become rich by saving your phone bills

You can do anything and everything you want..But you cant do what your heart want..because you cant hear to your heart when its with you..You hear your heart only when it is with someone else..You can smile anytime..But you can't smile everytime thinking about her..

I'm not single by choice..but by luck...:)

So many; Still alone

How many times it has happened in our life that more the number of people around, more we feel lonely..or in other words...How many times we felt we feel lonely in most populated crowd.??

How many times we have so many friends around to make...And all approachable..rather they approach u themselves..but still u run away from them..Why???Are u scared??If scared..Then scared of what???Yourself??Them??Or making new friends??Or loosing all friends??None of the question fits into the situation.And also none of the answer fits into the situation...Or situation itself doesn't allow you to fit in??I guess, this never happens...We are ourselves not able to fit into it..

After all this question and answer thing.. Still the statement exists exactly same..

How can we define loneliness??Or how can we measure loneliness??Answers to both these questions will never give us solution to run away from loneliness...However, just try to enjoy that very moment, when u are all alone may help u out....as it has just helped me...:)

Finally, its the time when I am gonna take your time.. I have been a year late in doing this, my much awaited task...This shows how dedicated Im towards all the tasks assigned to me, that I took nearly 1 more year to complete it....My all the leads and managers must be now grawnning in their minds reading above lines. 


Actually today is fortunately my last day in TCS as I am now moving out for my higher studies. However, as I am writing this mail I have started feeling that this is unfortunately my last day. It has been very entertaining journey for me..I mentioned just entertaining because this is the word which pushes me towards everything I do..And all the other common words learning, teaching, professionalism etc etc comes under this single word for me...


 My journey in Humana project has been just 6 months long. But these 6 months were not less for me to make great relations with everyone in the project. This medium may become exhausted if I thank each one separately. However, there are few people whom i cant miss....


 Nisha - Thanks for all your cooperation is making me comfortable in starting of my joining this project. She tried her best in listening to my problems and solving them for me. Though I was never interested in coming to Noida. But, she made sure that I miss Humana one day in future...And here I am.....One confession...All my problems were just excuses not to come to Noida..:)

 Nitin - He is the person who must have got angry many times over me but only in my absence..But, Sir as u know I never escape from work and never leave my work pending..There were situations which were unavoidable for my unplanned leaves...(for me still they were planned)..Thanks for all your cooperation..

Gyanendra - He is the one who has given me all the freedom..Also, always encouraged me to work more and more ..He is the one who even gave me credit for the work which I didn't deserve..Thanks a lot... It was really great working under you..



 Navneet - To say something about him. I am quoting someone's word from the project, "He is our Aamir Khan....Mr. PERFECTIONIST'. Sir, it was really awesome working under you. Onsite is always projected as something evil..But under you it was totally different..We always felt at same level with you..And I have learnt lot from you..Not just technically but also managerial skills..Which for sure I am gonna carry with me..

 Ajay - He is the most technical guy in Human KMG..I guess Ajay dont wanna hear more than this...:)

 Saurabh - I know him since I know AS400..Anything I say about him and his support will be less..He is the one who gonna miss me most here...:)

Finally its time for TITLIYAs ( Neha, Poorva, Sirisha, Sunanda, Priyanka and badi titli - Samta) - Don know what to say..But just gonna miss u all..I know there are people who maybe jealous of me..Must be manipulating thoughts in their mind about our GANG..but we call it GANG BANG...Cheers to you all..:) And I never taught them anything against their seniors or so. However, I felt it should be my responsibility (like others) to raise them from just 'Trainees' tag..Its really important for them to learn professionalism along with technical stuff for their future..It was the same process which was followed by Saurabh towards me..So its part of my corporate responsibility to teach my juniors what all I have learnt...

 I think most of you must have closed this email..But for all those who are still reading...Thanks for all your co-operation..It has been wonderful working with you all...All the best for your future...
